STAR Qualities
Academic qualifications and good grades are critical but we can overlook essential qualities that exams cannot measure. This workshop will help you identify and communicate confidently the competencies, skills and behaviours that employers or colleges are looking for. You will learn from practical experience and facilitated discussion and be encouraged to ‘own’ your self-development and actively plan to achieve your goals.
This workshop is an opportunity to:
üDevelop an appreciation of your personal STAR qualities
üTo practice speaking confidently about your achievements
üLearn the ‘STAR’ Technique to demonstrate your skills in interviews
üDevelop confidence in speaking in and to groups
üExplore practical tips on how to organise your evidence
All in a fun, engaging and safe environment.

This workshop aims to help your son or daughter to:
üFocus on planning for College or University and ultimately the world of work
üDevelop self-confidence especially when talking about achievements
üUnderstand how competency based interviews work
üUnderstand the need for evidence in backing up achievements and skills.
üDevelop an action plan to help them to achieve their goals

Cost is £50 for the one day workshop (10am-4pm)
Drinks and light refreshments are included but please bring your own lunch
